Spotlight on Kangaroos
A nationally representative survey was conducted in September 2023 by independent global data and insights organisation Pureprofile on the attitudes and beliefs of Australians about kangaroos and the commercial killing of kangaroos.
The state based survey results are presented here in our Spotlight on Kangaroos: State Survey Reports.
The surveys show that a representative cross-section of the Australian public in each state do not support the commercial killing of kangaroos, with strong majorities opposing ongoing cruelty and exploitation, across all survey categories.
These reports provide further evidence on a state by state basis that the commercial killing of kangaroos must end immediately, and non-violent coexistence measures must be introduced.
